I live in a suburb of a large city. Oak Creek is a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, it is the most southern suburb before going into Racine County. It use to be a nice small city now boasts over 40,000+ people. I know I'm low on the total number of people. The cost of living here isn't as bad as some areas but not as good as other areas. But we have people still working in our area. Our property taxes are a bit on the high side but we have great service for what we pay for. I've lived here all my life, but I'm ready for a change and my husband and I are going to be moving to Texas in around 27 months. I'm a country girl by heart and that is one thing that is disappearing here in Wisconsin is the small towns and the open land. If you find open land it comes at quite a cost.
